Does any of this sound familiar?

The more flexibility you offer, the harder it is to track what is pending, where there is a free slot and who is entitled to a make-up.

Students change or cancel classes frequently.

Absences notified in advance can be made up.

You offer packages, credit bundles or extra classes.

Available slots depend on level, teacher or capacity.

Timetable changes arrive over WhatsApp.

Students ask how many classes they have left.

Flexible timetables, clear rules

From an absence to a make-up, without losing track

One student cancels their class, freeing a slot that another student can book for a make-up. Everything updates automatically, without you having to intervene.

Step 1

Set up your make-up policy

Define the rules once: notice period, maximum pending classes, expiry and compatible groups. The system then applies the same rules every time.

Step 2

The student cancels their class

The student cancels in Clasbi. The cancellation is recorded and frees a slot for another student.

Step 3

Class credit is updated

The system detects whether the absence generates a make-up entitlement and how long it stays valid, according to your policy.

Step 4

The make-up is tracked

Another student with a pending make-up books the compatible slot. Their credit updates automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Make-up classes: frequently asked questions

It is a class a student takes at another time to make up for an absence. Whether the absence gives the right to a make-up class depends on the center's policy: usually, giving notice in advance (for example, 24 hours) and not going over the limit of pending classes.
With a system that applies your rules. In Clasbi, the student cancels in the app, their place is freed and another student can book it if they meet the conditions. You choose whether bookings are approved automatically or reviewed by admin.
They see it in the app: available, booked and used make-up classes, with their expiry date. They do not have to ask on WhatsApp.
No, if you turn on automatic management: cancellations and bookings that meet your rules are applied on their own. If you prefer to review them, you can turn on manual approval.
Only if your policy allows it. Clasbi checks the notice given and the limit of pending classes before creating the make-up class.
In a compatible group with a free place. You define which groups are compatible for each student and Clasbi only shows them those slots, without going over the class capacity.
Within the deadline set by your policy: the same month, the term or a number of weeks. Clasbi shows the expiry date of each make-up class and, once it expires, it is no longer available.
Six decisions: how much notice is needed, how many pending classes can be accumulated, when they expire, which groups they can be made up in, where they are recorded and whether the absence is deducted from the fee.
Yes. Clasbi is configured with your rules for notice, limits, expiry and compatible groups, so you do not have to change the way you work.
Make-up classes are included in Clasbi, which costs €5 per teacher per month, VAT included, after 3 free months with no long-term contract. The team has it up and running in 72 hours with data migration included.
